At Cozy Daisy Stitchery, my mission goes beyond handmade toys and cozy stitches. I started this business to reflect what I care about most—sustainability, education, and family—and that also means standing up for human rights, equity, and justice. However, I don’t just incorporate my values into the items I create, I put sales where my mouth is. Cozy Daisy Stitchery supports the ACLU!

That’s why 15% of sales from my LGBTQIA+, Immigrant, Refugee, and Global Communities, and Women’s Rights collections are donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Who Is the ACLU?

The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) is a nonprofit that’s been defending civil liberties and constitutional rights for over 100 years.  Founded in 1920, the ACLU has been at the forefront of major civil rights battles in the U.S. for over a century and is often the first line of defense when people’s rights are under threat.

What They Stand For

• LGBTQ+ Rights – Fighting for anti-discrimination protections, trans rights, and the freedom to live with dignity and joy.
• Immigrant and Refugee Rights – Defending asylum seekers, challenging family separation, and ensuring fair immigration policies.
• Women’s Rights – Protecting reproductive rights, advocating for equal pay, fighting against gender discrimination, and supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
• Racial Justice – Addressing systemic inequalities in housing, healthcare, education, and policing.
